Weissenborn Practical Method for Bassoon
This is pretty much the Bible for bassoonists. I really love the new version revised by Doug Spaniol because the print is larger and it has additional information in the beginning.

Milde: 25 Studies in Scales and Chords
I absolutely love these studies. I still play them whenever I sit down and play my bassoon! They are appropriate for a serious high school student and pretty much every bassoon major will work on these in college.

The early etudes are perfect for a serious high school student. They work well on recitals and as college audition pieces.

These are perfect for working on vibrato and expressive playing. They are appropriate for high school and college students.
